성장인자 단백질
성장인자(growth factor)는 체내에 존재하는 물질로서 세포의 성장, 증식, 분화를 조절하는 단백질 계통의 생리활성 물질입니다.
EGF, FGF, IGF-1, KGF, VEGF, TGF-beta 등 수십 종류가 알려져 있습니다. 우리의 몸은 에너지 대사 등 각종 산화적 요인에 의해 발생하는 활성산소, 자외선 노출, 상처, 수술 등 내적 및 외적 요인에 의한 세포의 손상과 노화에 의해 자연적으로 수리하는 시스템이 존재하며 여기서 중요한 역할을 담당하는 것이 성장인자들 입니다.
각 조직의 기능을 유지하기 위해 각종 성장인자들이 생산되어 일정 농도로 유지되면서 기능을 수행하고 있습니다.
그러나 나이가 들어감에 따라 피부 등 각 조직에서 성장인자들의 농도는 지속적으로 낮아지며, 세포의 재생 및 분열 기능이 약화되어 주름이 형성되고 탄력이 감소하는 등 노화가 진행됩니다. 따라서 외부에서 이러한 성장인자를 공급해주면 피부의 주름형성이나 탄력 감소를 완화시켜 줄 수 있습니다. 키프로젠은 10여종의 성장인자를 순수 자체기술로 생산하고 엄격한 제조 관리를 통해 공급하고 있습니다.
